The Groundtastic Guide to the

Eagle Bitter United Counties League (2001)

Twenty five years have passed since we published The Groundtastic Guide to the Eagle Bitter United Counties League, an 80-page magazine-style booklet that featured each of the clubs and grounds that made up the United Counties League (UCL) in 2001/02. A quarter of a century on, the publication makes interesting reading, with a number of the clubs having since become defunct or fallen down the pyramid as well as some grounds and cherished old stands having bitten the dust. On the pages of GT126 we looked in more detail at the UCL Guide and some of the changes that have occurred in the intervening years.
